TriZetto Signs Software License Agreement With
Michigan Teamsters Fund
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – August 8, 2002 – The TriZetto(R) Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:TZIX) announced today that the Michigan Conference of Teamsters Welfare Fund (MCTWF) has signed an agreement to license Facets(R), TriZetto's comprehensive managed-care administrative software, and HIPAA Gateway(TM), which processes electronic transactions in compliance with the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). MCTWF, a multi-employer welfare benefit fund primarily serving Michigan-based Teamster members, retirees and their families, is converting to Facets from ClaimFacts(R), which it has used since 1985. ClaimFacts is TriZetto's claims processing software for indemnity insurers.
